Shailesh Vara MP will this Friday officially open the new Best Friends Veterinary Practice in the Cardea development, Stanground.

The Practice will be the Best Friends Group’s second premises in Peterborough in addition to the one it already has in Netherton, and will serve pet owners in the local community with routine appointments such as microchipping, vaccinations and ongoing pet care.

The facility will be open 7 days a week and has completed the parade of shops near to Morrisons supermarket. There will be several members of staff employed in the practice and should demand be sufficient then there is the potential for more employment at the site.

Mr Vara commented:
“I am delighted to have been asked to open the Best Friend’s Veterinary Practice in Cardea this Friday. This is a new development and it is important that there is the right mix of facilities in the area for the community. The Practice will be a welcome addition for pet owners and I am looking forward to seeing the premises and learning more about what is planned.”
