Shailesh Vara MP is backing Aviva Community Fund’s launch today and is encouraging community groups across North West Cambridgeshire to apply.
The Aviva Community Fund awards funding of up to £25,000 for local community projects across a range of categories such as skills for life, health & wellbeing and community support.
Aviva are looking for projects that will have a positive impact in the community and that are original and sustainable. No project is too small to apply as The Aviva Community Fund recognises that a big difference can be made through small changes.
Applications can be made until 12 noon on 10th October via https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/. There will then be a chance to vote for your favourite projects, with winners announced in January.
Mr Vara said:
“I am delighted that Aviva is launching this year’s Community Fund today. Last year over 450 projects were awarded funding and all of these have made a real difference in their local communities.
This year, the Fund will finance over 500 projects across four different fund levels and I would encourage all community groups to apply.”
