Mr Vara joined Mrs Smith at the official launch of the business to show his support.
The Gidding Cake Company produces a range of home-baked cakes and deserts, from individualised wedding cakes to traditional favourites for eating at home. They place a premium on local produce and use eggs laid by their own hens.
