The Ramsey and District Garden Club held its Annual Show on Saturday 27th July at the Ramsey Rural Museum with local MP Shailesh Vara presenting the awards.
As usual the popular event was well attended with many of the entries then being auctioned by Richard Hyde to raise funds for the Club.
Robin Macpherson came top with the greatest number of winning entries, followed by Stan Mace.
Following the event Shailesh Vara MP said:
“It is always a pleasure to attend this popular event where the standard of entries remains very high. This was another enjoyable Show and my congratulations to all the winners. And a big well done to all the volunteers who put in so much hard work to ensure the success of the Show.”
Ian Gaunt, Chairman of the Club added:
“We were delighted with the number of entries and with the number of members of the public attending despite bad weather. The Club is grateful to the Ramsey Rural Museum for allowing us to hold the Show at their site and to Mr Vara for attending to present the trophies.”
